Teams and roles

Teams are a Pro-tier feature. They let a co-host or small management company invite teammates and the listing owners they serve — without sharing one login.

The four roles

  • Owner (one per team) — the account holder. Manages billing, members, properties, packets, reservations. Cannot be removed.
  • Admin — full team access except billing. Can invite and remove members.
  • Member — full team access on properties / packets / reservations. Can’t invite or remove anyone.
  • Property Owner — scoped to specific properties. Can edit rules / fees / WiFi / door code on their own listings only. Cannot create reservations, cannot send packets, cannot see other owners’ properties.

When teams make sense

  • Co-hosting business — you run packets for 5–25 listings owned by other people. Invite each owner as a Property Owner scoped to their listings so they can keep their own rules current.
  • Two-person operation — a partner who also sends packets. Invite as Admin or Member.
  • Solo — skip teams. Solo and Host tiers are intentionally single-login.

Inviting a teammate

  1. Settings → Manage team.
  2. Enter the email, pick a role.
  3. For Property Owner: also pick which properties they can manage.
  4. Click Send invite. They get an email; clicking the link signs them in (existing PreArrive account) or starts a new account on the same team.

Property Owner invites don’t consume your 5 teammate-seat allowance — they’re tracked separately by property count.

Switching between teams

A user can belong to multiple teams (their own free team, plus any teams they’re invited to). The top-nav switcher shows up as soon as you’re in 2+ teams. Pick a team to scope your dashboard to that team’s properties.
